I am 30 year old, a Mother, Fiance, Photographer, and school Teacher. There isn't really an exact moment that I can pinpoint on when I fell in love with photography. Was it young highschool me that ALWAYS carried around a digital camera with fresh batteries just incase? Or was it first time mom me, that wanted a picture of every single thing my newborn did at every second? Either way I am excited to learn more about you as a client, and potential friend for life!
Second Shooter
I am proud to announce that I will no longer be shooting alone! After growing this business all alone for FOUR years, I finally decided that it is time to seek some help. My second shooter will be accompanying me for some of my events, and even regular day to day sessions. Why? For the benefit of YOU, my clients! My second shooter will offer me the opportunity of capturing shots that I may miss from a different angle, a second vision, behind the scenes content, and possibly the opportunity of venturing into the world of videography.
The Name
Why B. L. Eve?
I wasn't given a middle name, but for as long as I can remember, my loved ones have called me "Brenda Lee". Don't ask me why, but it just stuck. Fast forward many years later, I have just gotten home from finding out that we are having a baby GIRL. I waste no time, pull out a pen and paper and say, "We are naming this baby TODAY". I was adamant that her middle name should be Eve, and her father wanted her name to start with the letter "B" in honor of me. A little while later we had the perfect name, Bailey Eve. He always jokes that if you slur her name alittle, it'll sound like the word "Believe"...
If you know me, you know that my daughter (currently only child) is my absolute world and partner in crime. She is with me at all times & I strive to have a beautiful loving relationship with her. She is my daily motivation and what actually inspired me to make photography more than a hobby. So I just had to incorporate her into this new project in my life in some way. And here we are.
